We know Christmas seems very far away but your help is needed now to help make someone’s holidays a little brighter! Please join the Highland Giving Tree Committee to prepare for the Christmas Season and continue Highland’s 40 year long Giving Tree Mission. Christmas gifts and/or gift cards will be purchased online and in stores by Highland volunteers with funds donated by the congregation. The volunteers will then deliver the items directly to those agencies supported by Highland in the past.
The success of this year’s project depends on:
– Raising enough money to meet the various agencies’ needs through contributions to the Giving Tree Fund
– Finding enough volunteers who will agree to purchase, bag and deliver about 20 gifts to an agency
If possible, please consider donating an amount equal to the cash or the amount you spent on gifts in previous years. Send contributions to the church office (Marked 2021 Giving Tree) and let us know if you’d like to volunteer to purchase and deliver gifts to the agencies!
